The Rae Valley Old Threshers Reunion, also called the Nebraska State Antique Tractor and Horse Plowing Bee, is held by the Rae Valley Heritage Association at Charlie's Park, just west of Petersburg, on the last full weekend of August; it began about 1983. Friday brings a tractor cade, a cream-can supper and a barn dance; Saturday a consignment auction, plowing and threshing demonstrations, an antique tractor pull, the Parade of Power and a steam engine spark show at dusk; Sunday a prayer service in the barn loft, horse and mule plowing and kids' pedal pulls.
