Ed and Marie Zorn built the Zorn Theatre at 706 Chief St., Benkelman, in 1928 and lived in an apartment attached to it. A community cultural-arts group has owned it since the 1980s; volunteers show movies on weekends and stage concerts and plays, and the theater keeps some memorabilia of Benkelman-born actor Ward Bond. It was listed on the National Register in 2021. Check its Facebook page for the schedule.
