Sutherland Reservoir State Recreation Area, at W. State Farm Rd. and S. NE 25 just south of Sutherland, is a lake of about 3,000 surface acres with 22 Electric Plus sites and more than 100 primitive sites, three ramps, two docks, a swim beach, an ADA fishing pier and a fish-cleaning station; the Oregon Trail Golf Course is on the north shore.
