Merrick Medical Center, on the Dinsdale Health Campus at 15th Road and 28th Street in southwest Central City, is a critical access hospital affiliated with Bryan Health. The $27 million, 51,000-square-foot hospital opened to patients on June 13, 2022, on land given by the Dinsdale family, with an emergency room, surgery including joint replacement, lab, radiology and rehabilitation. It also runs the Central City and Fullerton medical clinics.
