Lone Star Recreation Area, owned by the Little Blue Natural Resources District, is a 75-acre area on Walnut Creek in Fillmore County, 3½ miles east and ½ mile south of Ohiowa (about 2 miles west of Tobias). It has primitive and electric camp sites, restrooms, a concrete boat ramp and an accessible fishing deck; boating is no-wake, and largemouth bass must be 21 inches.
