The Hyannis Hotel, built in 1898 as the Hotel DeFair, stands at 102 S. Main Ave. in Hyannis, near Highway 2. Its National Register nomination (1976) called it the best hotel and restaurant in western Nebraska. It has guest rooms, a restaurant and a bar; call ahead to check that it is open.
