The Holdrege Midsummer Festival, formerly Swedish Days, celebrates the town’s Swedish roots each June in Holdrege. The 2026 festival ran June 18–20 with a kickoff on the courthouse lawn, a sunset concert, the grand parade, a street market, car and motorcycle shows, a Swedish lunch and breakfast and an ice cream and pie social. It won a 2025 Nebraska Tourism award. Organized by the Holdrege Area Chamber of Commerce.
