Hitchcock County Fairgrounds is the county fairground for Hitchcock County, at Railroad St & Wyoming St in Culbertson. Like most Nebraska fairgrounds it is owned by the county agricultural society and is in use well beyond fair week — rodeos, horse shows, tractor pulls, sales and community events. The 4-H side of the county fair is run by Nebraska Extension in Hitchcock County, which handles entries, livestock identification and the certification a young person needs before showing an animal. The fair is at Culbertson rather than the county seat at Trenton, and the grounds include Hitchcock County Speedway.
