Glur’s Tavern, 2301 11th St. in Columbus, was built in 1876 and listed on the National Register in 1975; it is believed to be the oldest continuously operating tavern west of the Missouri River. Legend has it that Buffalo Bill Cody bought a round with a $1,000 bill in 1883.
