The Richard Plautz Crane Viewing Site, managed by the Central Platte Natural Resources District (CPNRD), is located at the intersection of Elm Island and Lowell Roads, approximately 1½ miles south of I-80 Exit 285 near Gibbon. The site features two elevated wooden viewing decks overlooking the Platte River and a 1,650-foot accessible concrete trail. Admission is free, and the site is open year-round.
