Evelyn Sharp Field, 81385 Hwy 11, about 2 miles northwest of Ord, is the county’s public airport, with a 4,721-foot concrete runway and a turf strip, and 24-hour self-service fuel. It is named for Evelyn Sharp, who learned to fly in Ord. Valley County Airport Authority, (308) 750-5126.
