The Fremont, Elkhorn & Missouri Valley Railroad depot at 1st and Maple streets in Dwight was built in 1887, a one-and-a-half-story frame building with a freight room, office and waiting room and the agent’s living quarters. Trains stopped running in 1962; the depot was listed on the National Register in 1979. View from the street.
