St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Dwight has a brick Gothic Revival church completed in 1914, a 1921 school building, and rock gardens, fountains and grottoes built in the 1930s, with a tiny garden chapel said to seat four. The church, school and grottoes were listed on the National Register in 2008 (336 W. Pine St.). Visitors are welcome anytime; groups by appointment. Free. Phone (402) 566-2155.
