Sunshine Bottoms WMA is a 5-acre Wildlife Management Area managed by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, located in Boyd County, Nebraska. It is open to the public for hunting and other outdoor recreation in accordance with NGPC regulations. (Source coordinates: 42.92087, -98.40684.)
River access: Sunshine Bottoms is a Missouri River access point north of Lynch, with a boat ramp and canoe/kayak launch managed by Nebraska Game and Parks. Primitive camping is about 200 yards downstream; there are no restrooms or drinking water. From Lynch, take Highway 12 east about 3 miles, then turn north on Sunshine Bottom Road and follow it to the river. The gravel road can be impassable when wet, and the National Park Service describes the ramp as unsuitable for boat trailers but fine for canoes, kayaks and small boats. It is part of the Missouri National Recreational River water trail.
Nearby: Courtney's Sleepy Hollow Harbor and Resort, also in Sunshine Bottom, has cabins and river access.
