Nick Lyman Wildlife Management Area, 703 acres about 18 miles south of Bassett, was the Twin Lakes Rock County WMA until Game and Parks renamed it in 2025 for Nick Lyman, a Bassett native and waterfowl biologist for about 40 years; it was dedicated on November 3, 2025. Deer, dove, grouse, snipe and waterfowl hunting.
