The Fillmore County Museum, 600 6th Ave. in Fairmont, fills two historic buildings with more than 15,000 items on the county’s schools, businesses and farms, the World War II airbase, the Civil and Spanish-American wars, printing presses and local art; the Union Soldier Monument stands just south.
