Elk City Cemetery lies at Elk City, in the north-west corner of Douglas County.

It is described as a well kept cemetery, with the stones in good shape and only a few of them broken or unreadable.

Around 1,026 memorials have been recorded, which is a record of what has been photographed and indexed rather than a count of everyone buried there.

For burial records or plot inquiries, contact the Douglas County Clerk in Omaha. Ownership can also be confirmed through the Nebraska Statewide Cemetery Registry at the State Historical Society.
